It's the capital of Egypt and is considered the largest Egyptian cities in terms of area and population. It is first leg of the tour. What mainly attracts the visitor in Cairo, is that vital blend of majestic past and glorious present. At top of the Moqattam hills on the Eastern bank of the Nile rises the citadel of Salah El-Din El-Ayoubi towering and impressive.

At the foot of the mountain stand out hundreds of imposing mosques and stately ancient monuments. On the western bank of the Nile, there are the three Pyramids and the Sphinx, the greatest tribute to pharaonic art and thought. Cairo invites you to come and enjoy its beautiful all-year weather, and visit the immortal monuments and relics, especially the ancient Pyramids, in Giza.

1- Full day Tour: Giza tour program (Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis And Sakkara) with lunch:
We start by visiting Memphis the ancient capital of Egypt where colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx, then to visit Sakkara the step Pyramid of Zoser, after lunch we will visit the papyrus institute then a visit to the old Pyramids of Giza., free time for photographing and Camel riding. We will continue to see The Sphinx and The Valley Temple.
 

   

2- Full day Tour: Sakkara and Memphis with lunch:
Sakkara is 27-Km Southwest of Cairo. Including a visit to the step Pyramids of Sakkara (The first proper Pyramids built for the king Zoser, it is considered evolution of the Pyramid from the simple Mastaba to the Pyramid in its known form) Followed by a visit to The Pyramids of Unas & Oser-Kaf the Mastaba. Tomb of Mereruka,  Ti & Pta-Hotep (carved and painted tombs), Then Memphis the ancient capital of Egypt where Colossal Statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx, followed by lunch.
3- Full day Tour: The Egyptian Museum And Giza Pyramids with lunch:
 Start your full day visiting the Egyptian museum of antiquities.
On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most
precious collection of Egyptian art in the world.

Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tut- Ankh- Amon collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

Visit the great pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built.

Next is a close-up look at Sphinx - a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. 

Then visit Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques ...etc.

At the end of the day we will transfer you back to your hotel.

 

   


4- Half day Tour: Old Cairo:

 We start by visiting The Old part of Cairo, as Egypt was one of the first countries to embrace Christianity. We visit The Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, The Hanging Church, and The Coptic Museum which has a large collection of Coptic arts and antiquities dating from 300-1000, and we will also visit The Old Jewish Synagogue Ben Ezra Synagogue.
 

5- Full day Tour:  The Citadel & Old Cairo :
We start by visiting the Old part of Cairo, as Egypt was one of the first countries to embrace Christianity. We visit the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Berbara. The hanging Church, and the Coptic Museum which has a large collection of Coptic arts and antiquities dating from 300-1000 B.C., We will also visit the old Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Then visit followed by a visit to the Citadel (it comprises a number of important monuments which are; the Mosque of Soleiman Pasha, the Alabaster Mosque, Joeh's Walls, Mohamed Ali Pasha Palace & Provides a panoramic view of Cairo from Moqattam mountain).

6- Sound and light show at Pyramids:
A dramatic fusion light & music recounting the story of antiquity which takes one back to events of ancient history, the show is presented of light languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Spanish and Italian.

7- Half Day Tour : Sunset Or Sunrise Camel Ride:
At early morning. Take a relaxing ride down the Nile on a felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat, and see a different side of Cairo. This 1-hour ride gives you plenty of time to experience this unique mode of transport. Your trip also includes all transfers.

9- Full Day Tour: Islamic & Christian Cairo:
Your tour of Islamic Cairo begins with the 12th century Citadel of Saladin. Within the walls of this medieval fortress is Alabaster Mosque and the Qasr El-Gawahara or Jewel Palace built by Mohamed Ali, on a site which was once occupied by Mameluke and Ottoman palaces. Next you visit the Mosque of lbn Tulan, built in 876 AD, the oldest original mosque in Cairo.

Continue to Christian Old Cairo, where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon. Built over the ruins of the two towers of this fortress is the Church of St. Mary or El-Moallaqah (meaning overhanging or suspended) which is why the most popular name for this church is the hanging Church. Visit the Church of St. Sergius, founded at the end of the 4th century; it stands on a crypt that is said to have sheltered the Holy Family during their flight to Egypt.

Your tour ends with a visit to the Coptic Museum, containing the world's richest collection of Coptic art and treasures.


10- Full Day Tour: Pyramids - Saqqara, Abu Sir & Dahshur:
This tour is for pyramid - lovers and archeology enthusiasts. First visit the Abu Sir pyramids of principal 5th- dynasty pharaohs, Sahure, Niuserre and Neferirkare. The vast Tomb of Ptahshepses has been recently restored and well worth the visit. Next visit the oldest of all pyramids, the Step Pyramid and funeral complex of the 3rd-dynasty pharaoh Djoser, dating back to 2500 BC.

Continue through the desert to visit the Red and Bent pyramids at Dahshur, dating back to the 4th-dynasty.


11- Half Day Tour: The Pharaoh village:

Take a step back in time; about three thousand years back, to be exact. Just a few miles from the center of Cairo is a time machine waiting to take you on a fantastic journey to the days of the Pharaohs, a time brought to life by an incredible group of actors and actresses, faithful and exact reproductions of buildings, clothing, and lifestyles?


12- Half day Tour: Manial Place & Cairo Tower:
Leave the hotel to Manial Palace (ex - Crown Prince Mohamed Ali's Oriental Palace) on Rodah Island, where a fine collection of Arab Art and Mosaics can be admired.

Visit of the reception the rooms, the gardens, the private museum, and the beautiful mosque.

The duration of the visit is around two hours. Then by car to the Cairo Tower (height 600 ft.) on Guezireh Island to enjoy a panoramic view of Cairo.


13- Sailing Trip on the Nile:
A sailing boat trip around the Guezireh Island is one of the most romantic trips in Cairo to admire the beauty of the moonlight or sunset.

14- Over Day Tour: Tanis & the Suez Canal area:
Driving the car to San el Hagar (Tanis) the delta capital of Ramses II and than, Departure from Cairo in the early morning.

Via the agricultural road passing by a small town called Zagazig and the site of Bubastis where the cat was worshiped in ancient times.

Visit the ruins of Tanis, and then proceed to Ismailia on the Suez Canal for lunch. Return to Cairo by the desert road. N.B. prior to the visit of Bubastis and Tanis a special permission is to be obtained from the Department of Antiquities in Cairo.

 

   

15- Cairo by night:
This is a city tour all around Cairo to see the know places in Cairo

16- Cruise Dinner with show:
A magnificent excursion by boat over the Nile River bank with spectacular views by night, with Belly-dance shows, eastern music band and open Buffet Dinner.

17- Full Day Tour: Pharaonic village and Khan El-Khalili:
Visit to the Pharaonic Village (A beautiful trip including a show of Ancient Egyptian daily work by people wearing Pharaonic clothes).

Followed by a visit to Khan El-Khalili bazaars (a center displaying Eastern goods such as spices perfumes, gold, silver, carpets, brass, copperware, ceramics & mashrabia). Lunch follows.


18- Over day Tour to Alexandria:
Grec o-Roman Museum, the Roman theater & the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa.

Transportation Cairo / Alexandria / Cairo (by air conditioned bus) includes a visit to Greco-Roman Museum (Filled by collection, which covers the period from the 3rd Century BC to the 7th century AD Like Mummies, Hellenistic statues, bust of Roman Emperors, Tanagra figurines & early Christian antiquities).

Follow by a visit to the Roman Theater (A theater with marble seats up to 800 spectators, Galleries, Section of mosaic flooring & a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman Villas & baths). Follow by lunch.

Then a visit to the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa (Tombs on three levels, also contains The Triclinium where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast the dead, a center with relieves of bearded serpents.

Inside, there are 2nd Century AD statues of Sobec & Anubis wearing Roman Armor), Then visit the Montazah Garden and Alexandria Library.

19- Over day Tour: Oasis of Fayoum:
It is a small town in the South West of Cairo which has a rich historical
background of ancient civilization. You will visit:
Lake Qaroon: This covers an area of 200 Km2 and is ideal for fishing, duck shooting, rowing and swimming.

The duck flocks to it, escaping from the cold European climate. Water-Wheels: There are about 200 of them, which are used to draw underground water and irrigate agricultural lands. Ein Sellen, This small village has beautiful scenarios, lush greenery, thermal water and a new hotel. Archaeological sites the Pyramid of Amenemhat III, one of the kings of the 12th Dynasty that dates from the 19th century BC about 14 km from Fayoum.
   
The Village of Ahoom III where the pyramid of Senouseret II is situated, one of the kings of 12th dynasty.

20- Over day trip to Luxor by air:
Transfer from Cairo to Luxor: not including the domestic flight :
Transfer from Cairo to Luxor.
   

Visit The West Bank; Valley of The Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple and The Colossi of Memnon. Visit The East Bank, Luxor and Karnak Temples, return by plane to Cairo.
Domestic airfare; Cairo/ Luxor/ Cairo (the rest quoted is in 290 Euro).


21- Half day Tour:
Islamic Tours (El Azhar University, the Islamic Museum and Mosques) By car to millenary Islamic University of El Azhar, then to the Islamic Museum where are kept among other treasures an invaluable collection of antique Mosque lamps.

Tour continues to Ibn Touloun Mosque with the annexed Anderson Museum of Islamic Art.

22- Half day Tour:
Gates & Houses of Fatimid Cairo(Islamic Cairo) By the car to Bab El Fetouh & Bab El Nasr, two famous gates of the Fatimid City, Bab Zuweila and El Mouayad Mosque.

Finally visit two of the most beautiful Medieval Islamic houses at Beit El Sheimi.

23-Full Day Tour:
Memphis, Sakkara & Dahshour:
Sakkara is 27-Km Southwest of Cairo. 24- Over Day Tour:
Beni Hassan (El MEnya)
Leave the hotel by private car to Abu-Korkas
Cross the river Nile at Abu-Korkas by motor-lunch. Donkey ride to the rock Tombs of Beni-Hassan, where interesting paintings of the old and middle Kingdom are visited. Return to Minieh using the same transportation.


25- Over day Tour :
Tell Amarna, Ashmounein and Touna El Gebel
Early morning leave by car from your hotel to Tell Amarna. And take tractor to the Rock Tombs of Tell El Amarna, once Queen Nefertari and King Akhenaton's Capital. Visit the three main Tombs facing the valley.
   
(Including donkey ride or jeeps, the visit to these Rock Tombs
From the East side cross again the Nile to the West Bank and by car proceed to Touna El Gebel where you should arrive at around noontime. A lunch picnic basket will be served at a rest house. The Temple of Petosiris, the Roman wheel, Baboons and the Ibis Cemeteries, will then be visited.
